WWE has released Robert Gibson from the company. Gibson, best known to fans as a member of Rock N’ Roll Express, had been working in WWE’s Ohio Valley Wrestling developmental territory as a trainer.

Teddy Hart has been released from the WWE. The entire storyline for the New Hart Foundation has been scrapped.

Kid Kash was spotted this week at the TNA offices in Nashville.

A TNA board game is in the works.

The WWE have released Developmental Superstar Keith Walker.

It is believed the WWE have signed Chris Jericho to a contract.

Matt Sydal has officially reported to Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Jimmy Rave has officially finished with Ring of Honor.

Former WWE Star Eugene has said he is interested in TNA Wrestling.

John Cena is out up to 1 year and unfortunately will miss the upcoming WWE Australia Tour. The WWE Championship is Vacant.

As noted earlier today, the current plan is to have Cody Rhodes and Hardcore holly team up and fued with Cade & Murdoch over the Raw tag belts.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE has plans on "imminently expanding" the current ECW talent roster by bringing up guys from the developmental system. Which talent they will bring up remains to be seen at this point. There are only 13 active wrestlers on the roster at this time.

Roddy Piper announced at the GI Joe convention in Atlanta that one of the voting options for WWE's Cyber Sunday PPV will see a "who will be the special guest referee for the Great Khali's match?" with himself, Mick Foley and Steve Austin being used as options. Piper joked that if any fans voted for him, he would personally come to their home and smack them around because he doesn't want to have anything to do with a Khali match.

Several TNA wrestlers have talked about leaving the promotion. Those wrestlers include Homicide, Hernandez, Sonjay Dutt, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley.

Management asked all of them to stay until the two hour shows start (tapings were held Monday and Tuesday of this week), at which point they were told they'll get more television time.

A few of the wrestlers in question are interested in leaving TNA for Japan

The New Hart Foundation are set to debut on the Main WWE Roster and are so far going to Smackdown. It has been said that Bret Hart will also return.

Paul Heyman has quietly parted ways with WWE. He currently has no affiliation with WWE. He's free to go to TNA, but TNA hasn't expressed any serious interest in his services.

Also announced for Raw is Randy Orton vs. Mr. Cena and in a handicap match Triple takes on Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch.

JBL confirmed tonight on WWE Unforgiven that John Cena will face Randy Orton for the WWE Heavyweight Championship in a last man standing match at No Mercy next month.

WWE has released Simon Dean. A former Raw, Smackdown and original ECW superstar who was known as Super Nova from the BWO.

TNA favorite Samoa Joe is telling people close to him that he'd rather sign an entry level WWE contract, around $50,000 a year than re-sign with TNA with his current contract.

No doubt if he did go to WWE they'd either stick him in the lower ranks, totally repackage him or both.

The only thing on Jeff Hardy's calender is a Long Island autograph signing on August 31st. It is believed his suspension will be lifted sometime near that date.

Jeff Hardy wrongfully informed his fans via his website that he was injured from a nasty bump during his match against Kennedy a few weeks back, but he was in fact suspended.

Stephanie McMahon is pushing hard for D-Lo Brown to be brought up to the main RAW roster and become involved in a mid-card storyline. Brown has currently been working a lot of dark matches at recent televised events.

Rosey worked a dark match at this past Monday’s RAW in Fayetteville, North Carolina, losing to Johnny Jeter. Rosey has dropped a considerable amount of weight and is now working under his real name of Matt Anoai.

WWE has officially announced that they have signed Ring of Honor/Wrestling Society X star Matt Sydal. There is no word on when he is expected to report to their developmental territory however he is expected to fulfill his contractual obligations.

Sydal has been a very hot commodity since the demise of WSX. Both TNA and ROH have made negations with him.

World Wrestling Entertainment has learned that Bryan Adams, also known to fans as Crush, has been found dead today. More details are unknown; stay tuned to wrestling-showdown as they become available.

The original plans for Mr. McMahons return is to have Linda McMahon framed and Mr. Kennedy on Vince's side as if it was a stunt to make fans interested

After a recent panic in Stamford Ct after Raw was receive with a 2.5 rating, there was a serious panic within the WWE. An idea to bring back WWE's ratings to normal was to end the three brand shows of Smackdown & ECW and join all superstars onto one roster onto one show. There is no decision on what will happen until what the rating will be for Monday Night Raw this week.

Psycho Sid Viscous has told he is wanting to return back to the WWE after a nearly career ending injury in 2001. A few months back it was rumoured that WWE were tossing his name around backstage but there is no decision on whether he will return. Lately Sid has worked Indy shows.

Draft Lottery News
WWE World champion Edge vs. WWE champion John Cena will open the three hour Monday Night Raw tomorrow at 8 Pm Eastern, kicking off the 2007 WWE Draft Lottery. WWE announced this evening that all of the matches on Raw will be "interpromotional" with the winning wrestler earning their respective brand a draft pick. It should be interesting to see how the breakdown of the matches work since there are three brands.

Summerslam Change
The original plans for Summerslam have changed with the inclusion of the WWE vs. Jackass angle, and the knee injury suffered by Shawn Michaels. The card was to feature Rated RKO vs. DX or Triple H vs. either Edge or Orton, which at this point, looks to be Triple H vs. Randy Orton, which explains Orton’s recent push. Another match originally planned for the 8/26 Summerslam had Vince McMahon against Rey Mysterio Jr. The idea for a McMahon-Mysterio match hasn’t been dropped entirely, but obviously they aren’t currently heading in that direction.
